How to Open a PST File on Mac

macOS cannot open PST files. They are a Microsoft format, and without Outlook for Windows there is no built-in way to read them. MailRaider Pro fills that gap — it opens PST archives directly on your Mac, no Microsoft software required.

Drag your PST file onto MailRaider Pro and it opens immediately. You get the full folder hierarchy from the archive — Inbox, Sent Items, and any folders and subfolders that were set up in Outlook — with all email displayed exactly as it was originally composed, including formatting, embedded images, and attachments.

From there you can:

What you can do How
Browse the full folder hierarchy Double-click any folder to navigate into it; double-click .. to go back up
Sort email by sender, subject, or date Click any column header in the email list
Search across the entire archive Type in the search field — searches subject, sender, recipient, and body text
Read any email in full Double-click the row, or click the magnifying glass icon next to its name
Save attachments Open the attachments drawer and drag files out, or select and click Save
Export to Apple Mail or Thunderbird File > Export > MBOX — folder structure is preserved in the export
Export to PDF, EML, or XML File > Export — bulk export applies to the current selection or folder
